GOON (2011)
Watched cuz I saw the post on the .30 and I have to say I really enjoyed it. It's pretty much like a live action cartoon but it was fun. It's not going to win any awards but some of those bloody scenes nearly made me turn away.

Goon was OK, but it's no Slap Shot!

You should have mentioned Paul Newman is in that. Now I have to watch it.

tonight I saw The Dictator and MIB3
The Dictator was great, better than Borat I think
MIB 3 sucked like I thought it would, glad I didn't pay for it

I keep hearing people say they enjoyed The Dictator. I can't believe that bastard is married to the gorgeous Isla Fisher.

Project X (2012) -- Extended versionTotally ridiculous, but a ton of fun and pretty funny in places. Produced by Todd Phillips (Director of The Hangover) and it seems to be about the ultimate House Party (minus Kid and Play), so of course it had to be directed by a Brit...of Iranian extraction. It's his first film, but he has directed commercials and music videos including the adidas House Party ad that landed him the job:

Dear Zachary (2008)Fuck, this was a heart-wrenching experience. It also made me hate Canada just a little bit (sorry Laxdude).

I glanced at the basic plot of this movie. Looks intriguing.

Yes - I was not privy to any of the twists going in. Knowing would have definitely ruined the absolute stomach punch nature of the big twist toward the end. FUCK, that was brutal.

PrometheusIt was good, I enjoyed the story but it follows the same formula as the original Alien. At least this time around they don't rely on jump scares and visually the movie was stunning. Though the movie is not a prequel it still feels like its part of that universe, which is not a bad thing. There were some scenes that weren't explained and I wonder if others got a different interpretation. Is the Alien that comes out of Noomi inferior to the Alien that comes out of the Engineer? Because the one that came out of her body looked massive.

Snow White and the Huntsman
Shit. Kristen Stewart is horrible in it, Chris Hemsworth was weak and even Charlize was not as good as she can be. Just bad acting all around. The movie drags and the characters have no life. The direction sucked and the battle scenes were nothing special. Stupid waste of my time, the trailer is deceiving and the best parts are shown in it. There was this weird scene that screamed incest which I thought was unnecessary, especially since you don't get to see Charlize naked. Fuckers. Either commit to a truly darker more adult film or quit selling it like one. Fuck, just because that tard Stewart is in it doesn't mean you have to pander to her retarded fans. Instead you get a half ass attempt that could have been great with better writing and direction.

Prometheus
Also thought it was good, but could've been a classic like Alien. The first half or so is great, and yeah, this film looks amazing.
I just thought it went downhill after that. It asked a lot of great questions that didn't pay off. Damon Lindelof (sp?) (Lost) helped write the script, and it showed.
Still worth seeing in theaters IMO.
Didn't see it in 3D but I hear it's good.
