You get the Unfollow from me on Facebook if you are doing that. We'd still be friends, but I only want substance on my feed.

I've got a few people who do that on my friend list. Those who just post their running or biking times I don't mind. It's the ones who actively seek out the reassuring comments that bother me.

One of my old chums seems to do nothing but post run times. This must be interesting to about...let me think...one person. He got chucked off all my social networks immediately. Idiot.
Oh, and his profile picture is of him running.
And, he used to be a fatty.
Almost as bad as a reformed smoker.

My gym is in my office building. I go during my lunch break. I used to have that privilege for years. They they moved us to a new building with no fitness center. I was bummed. That lunch break for exercise was always great. S.C.

I like the reminder to keep at it. If posting about this stuff helps/motivates us to stay healthy then it's worth it. And now back to my gruel.

My workplace opened up a fitness room a few months ago, and I didn't expect to use it, but about a month ago I realized I could exercise without taking any additional time out of my day and BAM I started running on the treadmill at lunch. I just do 20 minutes high intensity interval training and then have a quick lunch. Lunch used to be fast food or heavy catered mills, and now is a 5oz can of tuna or salmon and a green pepper. I've lost 7 lbs so far and hopefully can get another 10.

Great thread for humblebragging. You know, I've gotten some shit for sharing so much about my exercise and whatnot over on the bookface. I do post a lot, everytime I go to boot camp, everytime I run or ride my bike. The thing is, though, I'm not bragging. I do it as another measure of accountability. If I slack, I've got 700 someodd people that might notice and be disappointed. At least that's what I tell myself, even if most of them don't give a shit one way or another. I get all that. I have a FB friend who posts a lot more Runkeeper stuff and mentions his marathons, so I started posting some too, but I figured I would just stop posting that after the Bay to Asscrackers last month. Plus, that damn Runkeeper has had me starting my runs from the middle of the Bay a couple of times. I swear I wait until that says my GPS signal is good. Hard to complain about a free app, but still.
