on the Sklarbro episode, Carolla said, 'you skipped ahead a story, there is a Gloria Allred story still in there.'
So, does Lynch just pick the stories (warehouse row3 bay 5, shelf 2)
Does Alison pick them, and then have to pass them on and/or clear them

From what I can tell, Alison and Lynch pick out some stories of the type Adam will like. They may or may not brief Adam right before the show, but what has always seemed obvious to me is that if the stories weren't going in a direction Adam generally likes, there would be hell to pay at the next staff meeting.

You give Adam too much credit. He does no prep, therefore he does not look at anything beforehand.

I posted this on the other board a few days ago.
Make no mistake about it, Mike Lynch has a lot of input as to what goes into the news and how long the segment should be. He will sprinkle in topics known to whet Adam's rant whistle.
He's a smart guy but at this point they need a producer with stome stones.
